Refund Policy

At Equips Marketplace, we aim to provide a secure and transparent buying and selling experience for medical equipment worldwide. Because our platform connects buyers and independent sellers, refund terms may vary by vendor. Please review each seller’s policy before placing an order.

1. General Refund Guidelines

  1. Buyers are eligible for a refund only under valid conditions as outlined below.
  2. Refunds are issued based on the seller’s return and refund terms, unless covered by Equips Marketplace Escrow Protection (if applicable).
  3. All refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of item delivery.

2. Eligible Refund Reasons

You may request a refund if:

  1. The item is damaged or not working on arrival.
  2. The item is significantly different from the listing description.
  3. The wrong item was delivered.
  4. The item is lost in transit (subject to verification).

3. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will not be provided if:

  1. The item is damaged due to misuse or improper installation by the buyer.
  2. The request is made after the allowed time period.
  3. The item is marked as “non-returnable” in the listing.
  4. The buyer simply changes their mind after delivery.

4. How to Request a Refund

To file a refund request:

  1. Log in to your account.
  2. Go to My Orders > Request Refund.
  3. Provide clear photos/videos (if applicable) and a description of the issue.
  4. Our team or the seller will respond within 3–5 business days.

5. Refund Method

  1. Refunds will be made to the original payment method (credit card, bank, crypto wallet, etc.).
  2. Processing time may take 5–10 business days after approval.

6. Seller Disputes

If a seller rejects your refund request:

  1. Equips Marketplace may mediate the case if the transaction was covered under platform escrow or dispute resolution.
  2. Final decisions will be based on evidence provided by both parties.

7. Shipping for Returns

  1. If a return is required, the buyer or seller (depending on the case) will be responsible for return shipping costs.
  2. Shipping fees are non-refundable unless the seller is at fault.
